Place Description:
Wallingford Center opened in it's current form in 1983, but it was originally built in 1904 as Interlake Public School.
Current tenants (summer 2010) include iZilla Toys, Trophy Cupcakes, Chutney's Bistro (Indian), Ace Hardware, Amita Art & Gifts, Paron's Closet and more.

- Outside heaters. It's not always warm enough to comfortably have dinner outside in Seattle, but these work wonders.

- You can see part of the "WALLINGFORD" sign on top of the QFC building across the street. For many years (prior to QFC taking over the building) that sign read "FOOD GIANT", in the same lettering style. When QFC took over the property there was some hullabaloo about the sign, so QFC recycled some of the letters from the original and put up what you see here.
